Amazing Dogs
I have owned German Shepherds most of my life. I was even taught to walk by holding omto the tail of one very patient GSD. My family has been involved with search and rescue with shepherds for some time. Recently we lost a beloved GSD and I adopted a Bloodhound. I had always heard horror stories about these dogs and have come to discover most untrue. This is an animal capable of a lot of love for its owner. Never a mean bone in its body and always willing to met a new person with a nice drooling tongue to the face. I am now converted to a true lover of ths breed, wished I would have discovered
them sooner.

If your dog eats non-food materials...
If your German Shepherd puppy eats non-food materials, it may indicate an underlying health condition or a behavioral problem. Some veterinarian specialists associate pica with health disorders: iron deficiency anemia, chronic stomach or intestinal disease, such as chronic pancreatitis, swallowing problems, lead toxicity and other diseases. First, you should consult with your veterinarian surgeon about your dogs possible health problems. Your veterianrian may suggest changing your pet diet or including approved mineral supplements into your dog's diet.
