Aminopropazine Fumarate

Aminopropazine fumarate is a muscle relaxant that is chemically related to phenothiazine. Aminopropazine fumarate is used in dogs and cats for reducing excessive contractions of smooth muscle, such as occur in urethral spasms associated with urethral stones.2 Aminopropazine fumarate also reduces contractions in genitourinary and respiratory systems. It has little central nervous system effect (sedation). It is used with caution in patient with severe heart, kidney or liver disease.3
