The Evergreen candytuft (Iberis sempervirens) is a low spreading plant, its dark green leaves covered in white (sometimes pink-tinted) flowers for many weeks. Trim it after flowering to make a tidy, compact shape. The dark leaves make it a valuable “anchor” plant all year. Iberis sempervirens “Snowflake” is an excellent long-blooming cultivar.
