Newfoundland Breeders

This "hero dog" is believed to be one of the most ancient canine breeds in existence with a life-saving instinct that no other canine can boast of. They originated on the island of Newfoundland in eastern Canada. Strong, hardy and good-natured, these gentle giants were also very useful around farms and boats pulling carts and fishing nets and saving people from rough waters. Newfies love water and some are notorious slobbers and are not suitable for particularly fastidious people.
